Ball gowns are one of the most traditional styles of prom dresses. They have been in style since the very first prom! From debutantes to weddings, it is the classic look that will never disappear from the prom style scene and prom 2012 is no exception. Designers have taken this eloquent style and stepped it up a notch or two. Ball gowns are now designed in every fabric imaginable. Prints, polka dots, animal prints and even a few with cutout waists! A ball gown is a dress that's fitted at bust and sometimes waist then dramatically flares at the hip or just below if designed with a dropped waistline. Contains layers of tulle underneath which can be "fluffed" for added width or taken out for less. We often use this style to dress our pageant queens but never hesitate to pull these types of prom dresses for a diva either!
