Bras

Prom dress styles are getting more creative every year with backless gowns and hyper-plunging necklines. It is true that some dress have built-in bras but some do not. We wouldn't want a bra issue to stop us from getting that dress we love! So if you are one who needs a bra at all times, hopefully, we can help you eliminate that issue and move own to more important things for that special night!

Here are several options for your backless, plunging neckline, strapless, halter, spaghetti strap, or one shoulder strap dress:

If your dress has skinny straps or too many cut outs and you can't find the right bra you have two options, there are inserts or cups that can be sewed into the dress or the all-time favorite Nu Bra. The Nu Bra is strapless and has adhesive cups that just stick on. If you found that no bra is the only option but still need support a Nu Bra will do the trick. The wonderful thing about the Nu Bra is that it can be used over and over!

If your dress is strapless then you simply need a strapless bra. But you might to need to know the correct way this bra should fit. Make sure the bra lays correctly against your breast bone, it should be flat. Along with any bra, make sure the cups fit smoothly, this means no gapping, puckering, or bulgings. You do not want the girls spilling over!

If your dress has a plunging neckline also known a deep-v try a u-plunge bra. This bra needs to fit a little snug to handle all your dance moves that night!

If your dress has a strap in the back that sits lower than your average bra would, try a low back bra. Always try a bra on to make sure the fit is good and comfortable.

If your dress has criss-cross straps whether thick or thin there is options for that too! With thick straps a strapless bra that you can add straps to should do the trick. Just simply criss-cross the straps. With thin straps do the same but try clear straps. This way, depending on how thin the straps are, you want be able to see the straps.

If your dress has a one-shoulder strap or a criss-cross in the front a convertible bra will do all the tricks. A convertible bra is a strapless bra that has inserts for straps in the front, side, and back. These straps adjust to any angle so you can customize this bra to meet the need of your dress.

If your dress allows you to wear a regular bra but your busty, there is a bra that can slim your silhouette. A minimizer bra is really helpful in de-emphasizing the chest area.

If your dress causes for you not to wear a bra and you are comfortable with this but don't want your headlights shining all night, use a nipple concealer. This will give you a smooth view in your chest area. Great with sheer fabrics and clingy styles.

Remember if you are wearing a strapless bra and are adding straps, whether criss-crossing them or converting them to fit your dress style, try straps that have designs on them. This way if they do show, it will add to your dress, or fool someone into thinking it is apart of your dress!

If you are lucky and are able to go without any type of bra but don't want to fill like you are falling out your dress, there is always the double-sided tape. It is great for keeping dresses up and holding boobs in.
